Â鶹Æƽâ Counseling Services (CS) offers various services for students experiencing mental health issues and\/or crisis at no cost. CS is staffed with three counselors, at least one intern, and five 5050 Peer Helpers.<\/p>\n

Services are provided during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call ext. 6232 or 717-867-6232. Additionally, a counselor is available for on-call emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contact Campus Security at ext. 6111 or 717-867-6111.<\/p>\n

CS provides Q<\/strong>uestion P<\/strong>ersuade R<\/strong>efer(QPR) training to Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, Mosaic Mentors, and 5050 Peer Helpers.<\/p>\n

CS subscribes to Mindwise <\/em><\/strong>Mental Health Screening to empower students to complete a mental health self-assessment to determine if they or someone they know should contact a mental health professional.<\/p>\n

CS offers various workshops and outreach information activities focusing on mental health for students.<\/p>\n

LVC has an official PA CARES Certified Suicide Prevention Institution of Higher Education Designation.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n
