What is the CARE Team?<\/div>\n
\n

The Â鶹Æƽâ CARE team is a group of faculty and staff dedicated to the health, wellness, and success of each student academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.<\/p>\n

Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to cultivate C<\/strong>onfidence, A<\/strong>ccountability, R<\/strong>esilience, and E<\/strong>ngagement in every student.<\/p>\n

The team identifies and develops an individualized success plan for students who may experience a variety of challenges and can benefit from additional support or assistance.<\/p>\n

This outreach is to help make students aware of available resources, establish or strengthen connections in the LVC community, and support students to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n

What does the CARE Team do?<\/div>\n
\n

In conjunction with Starfish, our student success platform, the CARE Team meets weekly to review alerts raised for students and ensure they have the proper guidance and support to resolve any issues. A student\u2019s assigned CARE Team member works with the student to develop an individualized plan to best address their needs and challenges. This plan may include academic coaching meetings, connection to additional resources, or merely a check-in meeting.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n

Although the CARE team includes members from many areas on campus, certain services are outside our expertise.<\/p>\n
